Our Story
A little bit about how we got here.
Welcome to our wedding website! If you're here, you're among our closest friends and family, and we're so delighted to invite you to share our wedding day on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
We met for the first time in August 2024. Our first dates were incredible — we'd entirely lose track of time as the world slowed down around us. Great for us, less so for the queue of people waiting for the table we were hogging well past hand-back time at the Indian restaurant.
What followed was a whirlwind romance that felt incredibly natural and right. We moved in together within six months, and welcomed our baby boy Freddie to the world in July 2025 — on his dad's birthday, no less!
Calum proposed in December 2025 at the Black Ivy, where we'd had our very first date. Aby, after confirming he was actually serious despite the ring sitting right there on the table, happily said yes.
We're so excited to continue this journey together as husband and wife, along with baby Freddie and Leeto — and we can't wait to celebrate with you.

A long-time holiday favourite for Calum's family and the setting of many happy memories, there's nowhere else we'd rather say 'I do.' We'd be delighted if you could join us.

Getting There
The Isle of Skye is an incredible destination — here's how to make the journey as smooth as possible.
By Air
The nearest airport is Inverness (INV), around 2.5 hours by road — the most convenient option, with flights from London, Manchester and Dublin.
Car hire is available at Inverness Airport from all major providers. Alternatively, Scottish Citylink operates a direct coach service from Inverness Bus Station to Portree (approximately 3.5 hours) — the bus station is a short taxi ride from the airport.
Glasgow (GLA) and Edinburgh (EDI) are also options, roughly 4–5 hours by road, with car hire and onward coach connections available.
By Road
Skye is accessible via the Skye Bridge (A87) from Kyle of Lochalsh — no toll applies. Portree is a further 30 minutes north on the A87.

By Coach
Scottish Citylink runs direct coaches to Portree from both Glasgow (approximately 6.5 hours) and Inverness (approximately 3.5 hours).

By Rail & Coach
Take the scenic Kyle Line from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh — one of Scotland's great railway journeys — then connect to a Scottish Citylink coach for the final leg to Portree (approximately 1 hour). Car hire is also available in Kyle of Lochalsh from carhireskye.co.uk.

Staying the Night
We hope you'll be able to make a weekend of it on beautiful Skye.
A block of rooms has been reserved at The Cuillin Hills Hotel for the night of the wedding. These are available at a fixed rate starting from £130 for a standard twin or double, with prices varying by room type.
Travel cots are provided free of charge for children under two. Roll-away beds for children up to twelve are available at £85 each, with a maximum of two per room.
To book from the reserved block, please call the hotel reception directly on the number below and quote 'Waterson party' — this rate is only available by phone and cannot be booked through the hotel's website.
Any additional nights, or rooms booked beyond the reserved block, will be charged at the hotel's standard rate — so we'd encourage you to book early.
